building, and zoning administration professionals. These diversified offerings include a range of code-related solutions including interactive zoning maps, enhanced graphics publishing for zoning codes, legislation drafting tools, and promotion of code APIs for third party development process tools such as permitting, code enforcement, and licensing.
A recognized zoning code publishing and usage subject matter expert, Wayne is a frequent presenter at state and national professional planning conferences for local government officials where he promotes publishing best practices and the adoption of technology solutions to make development codes more easily accessible and understandable. Wayne does this successfully because of the unique perspective that he holds not only as an experienced publishing professional, but by using these tools on his own community’s Planning Board which he currently Chairs.
Wayne also started General Code’s Professional Partnership Program, comprised of three different categories of collaborators: Technology Solutions, Content Integration, and Professional Alliances. These partnerships align General Code with industry leading software developers and consulting planners allowing close collaboration on products, services, and educational programs that serve municipal governments and their constituents nationwide.
Wayne is a graduate of the Rochester Institute of Technology and lives in Lima, NY. He enjoys camping, hiking, fly fishing, kayaking, and rooting for the Buffalo Bills!
