Throughout 2024, General Code’s Account Managers and representatives have traveled across the country, attending municipal conferences and seminars from the West Coast and the Rocky Mountain region to the Midwest and the East Coast. Along the way, they’ve had the privilege of connecting with municipal clerks, mayors, building officials, planners, board members, finance officers, and other local leaders at approximately 80 municipal events.
It’s been a pleasure connecting with communities and sharing our innovative digital code-centered solutions, including eCode360®, MapLink™, Digital Codes Premium, Custom I-Codes, our codification services, and more. The enthusiasm and collaboration we’ve experienced along the way has been truly rewarding.
This year also marked an exciting milestone with the introduction of “ICC Innovation” at the September International City and County Management Association (ICMA) conference. ICC Innovation showcases a variety of digital solutions from the ICC Family of Solutions, all designed to help municipalities drive growth, strengthen resilience, and boost operational efficiency.
In addition, General Code’s Director of Technical Solutions Wayne Childs, and codification experts Michael Peter and Kirk Franklin have contributed valuable insights through educational sessions, presenting on essential topics such as “A Digital Zoning Code Revolution,” “Codification: An Important Building Block of Good Governance,” and “The Why of Codification.” These CEU-eligible sessions reflect General Code’s ongoing commitment to empowering municipalities with tools and knowledge for effective local government leadership.
