After 49 years serving the codification needs of local municipalities, New Jersey-based Coded Systems has announced that it is merging with General Code, LLC. This new partnership will provide more local communities with powerful and innovative ways to access, use and share Code content.
General Code currently provides quality code content, digital access and codification and zoning services to municipalities in 28 states and Canada. In recent years, General Code has focused on providing its clients with the best user experience possible through the development and production of industry-leading digital solutions including eCode360, MapLink™ and ICC premiumACCESS™ (online digital building codes). General Code is excited to be able to extend these outstanding offerings to Coded Systems’ diverse national client base.
As part of General Code, Coded Systems is now a member of the International Code Council, a worldwide family of solutions that supports building, zoning and planning officials with expanded offerings to help communities navigate change and growth.
Together, General Code and Coded Systems will work to ensure a smooth, seamless transition of customer information and Code work in progress while maintaining the high level of service that its clients have come to expect.
Coded Systems will maintain its office in Spring Lake Heights, NJ and continue to provide its clients with dedicated service and professional expertise under the General Code name. Michelle Wood and her team will continue to work with Code clients to provide codification and supplementation services.
